Functions:
PEB-B is a tuber-specific biostimulant product for tuber expanding plants, such as potato, peanut, yam, radish, radix pseudostellariae, ophiopogon japonicus, Panax notoginseng, ginseng, etc. PEB-B triggers endogenous cytokine accumulation, and improves assimilation under abiotic stress conditions, in order to significantly promote the yield more than 20%-30%. If it cooperates with growth control technology, the effect is more outstanding. Meanwhile, PEB-B enhances the immunity of plants leading to diseases and pests reduction, and without any loose of quality and nutrition. PEB-B is applied as foliar spay and irrigation, especially root application.
Mechanism
Cytokinin precursors could adjust auxin and cytokinin regulation network in the root to promote tuber and fruit expansion, and balance the nutrition flow to improve starch, dietary fiber and protein accumulation.
The natural pollen essence could activate the root cell differentiation and division, via flavonoids, glutathione, and phenylpropanoid metabolism pathways, increasing lateral root more than 10%, and promote root architecture.
Stress tolerance factors could trigger the endogenous ABA accumulation and active the response system to environmental stresses such as drought, high/low temperature, salination and diseases, leading to increased yield under adverse environments.
JA inducers activate biosynthesis involved genes expression in order to increase the primary and secondary metabolites accumulation and to upgrade the quality of medicine plants and their medicinal value.
The tuber applied PEB shows uniform size and high commodity rate, without hollow heart.
